Founded in 2008, Marion Melbourne is a Toronto based, full service Decorating and Design Company run by Yasmin Zeitler.Yasminʼs comprehensive knowledge as well as her passion for Design brings about her distinctively original Interiors. Her ability to mix styles, time periods and objects results in spaces that reflect the personalities and interests of her clients.

Yasmin graduated with a BA in Art History from McGill University, and earned her Masters Degree at the University of London. She studied Interior Design at the FIDER and ARIDO accredited International Academy of Design in Toronto. Upon graduating Yasmin became a member of the Director's Guild of Canada where she designed sets for Film & Television. She has also worked as a Prop & Wardrobe Stylist for a variety of National and International clients including VISA, Coca-Cola, Toyota and Rogers.

Yasmin has always placed great importance to learning from different lands and cultures and has traveled the globe extensively. At the early age of 15 she started venturing out on her own throughout Europe during summer vacations, finding unique study or research opportunities such as archaeological digs in France and Greece, working as a German language tutor for a family in Spain, and helping out in an investment brokerage firm in Paris. These experiences opened her mind to all the fantastic Architecture and Interiors that different parts of the world have to offer. Her knowledge and experience extends from the far reaches of Asia, through Europe and northern Africa, as well as South America.

Her previous work and travel experience thus enabled Yasmin to approach her Decorating and Design Company in an original way. Yasminʼs sense of fun and playfulness is reflected in her work as well as her personality. Her goal is to take the daunting aspect out of a renovation project and allow her clients to enjoy every part of the process, as well as the result.

“My goal is to create homes that my clients feel completely comfortable in and love visually for years to come.”
